Traditional brackets are designed for the average size and shaped teeth. Unfortunately, nobody actually has such teeth, which is why orthodontists spend much of the treatment time making adjustments to archwires in order to make up for these differences.

LightForce® allows Dr. Carroll and Dr. Sutton to utilize digital scanning and 3D printing technology to fabricate brackets that are custom-designed for each one of your teeth based on its size, shape, and planned final position.

Every individual bracket is as unique as every one of your teeth. They are then bonded to your teeth using custom indirect bonding jigs, which allow very precise placement of these brackets. Since every bracket is ideally designed for your teeth, far fewer individual tooth adjustments are needed during treatment, saving a significant amount of treatment time.
