Dr. Michael Sutton

Dr. Michael Sutton is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. He worked for three years in the engineering field before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry.

Dr. Sutton earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. During this time, he received acceptance into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and won several prestigious academic awards. After suffering from too many cold winters, he decided to further his career and head south to the University of Florida orthodontic program. He earned an orthodontic certificate and a master’s degree in dental science from the University of Florida.

Dr. Sutton is actively involved in continuing education programs with several professional organizations. He is a past president of the Sarasota County Dental Association and involved with local study clubs.

As a father, Dr. Sutton understands how to communicate with patients of all ages and help them feel at ease. He is highly respected within the community, not only for creating beautiful smiles but also for his generosity and support of local organizations.
