Meet Dr. Mike Sutton
Dr. Michael Sutton was born and raised in Allentown, PA. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in Environmental Engineering. He worked for three years in the engineering field, and then he decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Sutton received his doctorate of dental medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. There Dr. Sutton was a member of the Omicrom Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and winner of several prestigious academic awards. After suffering from too many cold winters, he decided to further his career and head south to the University of Florida Orthodontic Program.He is a member of numerous dental organizations, including the American Dental Organization, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Sarasota County Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Florida Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontics and the Charlotte County Dental Society. He is actively involved in continuing education with several of these organizations. He belongs to several study clubs, including one for Invisalign. He often holds seminars on modern orthodontic techniques to local dentists and their staff. Dr. Sutton’s hobbies include diving, fishing and golf. |
